This is your community, your country, your world. We can’t expect someone else to come in and solve our problems or fix things up for us. We have to ask how we’re contributing, how we’re showing up, what we’re doing to improve our community and the quality of life for ourselves, our families, our neighbors.
I’m Sarah Morphew. I live on an acreage in Estherville with my husband Al and our son.
As a kid I was taught we have a government of for and by the people and that it’s our duty as Americans to vote and to be engaged in the political process.
I’m running on the values of unity, health, and opportunity.
One of our greatest assets is our loving community of people who come together to support one another. For years we’ve crossed social and political barriers to do great works for our community, and we will continue this for years to come.
We want our loved ones, our neighbors, our kids, our parents, and our grandparents to have the health care and emotional support they need.
We want thriving downtowns and successful local businesses, we want good jobs, and fun times.
I value integrity, kindness, and creativity. I’m good at listening, understanding complex matters, seeing patterns, and finding solutions.
My husband and I are entrepreneurs and small business owners in Estherville. In our community we volunteer, serve on boards, work on and develop service projects, and serve our church. I currently serve on church council.
You matter. I will talk with you and listen to your needs and concerns and I will make common-sense decisions for the betterment of our county.
I look forward to working with you to serve Emmet County.
Thank you for your vote in the Nov 3, 2020 election!
